Cory is an Arkansas attorney turned law firm efficiency enthusiast. He began his legal journey after completing three years as an educator in the Houston Independent School District. During law school, he clerked at law firms ranging in size from solo practitioner to large 50+ attorney practices. After law school he became an Associate at the Tellez Law Firm, PLLC, where he primarily represented defendants in criminal proceedings. During his time as an Associate Attorney, he discovered the import role technology has to play in legal practices. He brought the firm into the modern era by setting up a robust case management system, automated documents, and text-enabled phone service. Cory now works on the Lawyaw team at Clio where he uses his knowledge of practicing law and expertise in legal technology to help firms become more efficient and automated. From strategizing data and case workflows to building personalized templates for customers, Cory has helped hundreds of attorneys and law firms save time through legal technology.
